Dance in the Kabuki theater has a great number of characteristic patterns and styles of posing the body.
These patterns and poses are learned, by both dancers and audiences, through corporeal experience, and are not formalized into a written system of choreography.
In yanesen Kabuki experience, you can can enjoy Kabuki costume by playing particular Kabuki pose like "mie".
Ex-pro Kabuki actor, who plays kabuki dance in Kabuki-za theater will teach you how to assume "mie" pose and the way how actors hold attention of the audience.

Only real make-up used by professional kabuki actors is used.
Long ago, as candles and oil lamps were used as lighting in Kabuki theatres, it was important for theatergoers sitting far from the stage to be able to see the actors faces.
For this reason, while make-up was used.
Only authentic costumes worn by professional actors are used.
The real costumes are quite distinguishable in that they are of fine heavier material and are more colourful and intricate in design.
Inside the wig there is a soft copper plate which can be bent to fit the actors head size.
The ‘Lion’ character wig is made from real Yak hair.
